Tricky color…Orange. It’s not my favorite either. But this challenge took me immediately to my fabulous Nepal Annapurna trek tour in 2008.
I would say that red and orange are the predominant colors of this wonderful country, so today I dedicate this post to Nepal. I hope to make it back to the Himalayas someday.

Perfect entry for Orange. I love all the photos but the sunrise over the Himalayas is exceptionall
This was truly a very impressive day for us. We had been trekking for 4 days and saw very little of the Annapurna mountain range because the clouds always had the tips covered. This picture was taken at 7a.m. on Poon Hill at 3193mts. If you look closely these mountains soar another 3971 mts above sea level! It’s hard to describe the feeling of awe one has – only who has trekked the Himalayas knows what this is.
